Vintage Wedding Photos To Add To Your Collection!

I'm so sorry I've been away from blogland for so long! I have been lazy and playing on Facebook! SO today I scanned some new wedding photos to share with you!
You would think these would be so easy to find but I'm
having a much harder time finding these treasures!
But you know me, every where I go I scout them
out and usually find at least one!
OK, now you have to admit that the bride in this
one looks like a guy in drag, so I bought it!
I thought she looked so sweet. Maybe you can copy this and work your magic with your photoshop and do better than I did.
No big church or ceremony to take this bride's photo!
She just posed right next to a spruce tree in the side yard!
This photo actually said wedding photo on the back. How do you like her hat! I can't tell if it's feathers or flowers but they're both pretty horrible,YIKES!
Neither of these two look very happy do they?
I just love this photo. It sparks my imagination. I'm thinking she lost her husband in the war and this is his son standing in front of her. Her new husband was in her late husbands squadron and delivered his posessions. It was love at first sight and a year to the day they were married. She carried her late husband's photo in her bouquet. Well that's my take on it! Thanks for stopping by!

Just a little invite, but no pressure.

  8. Hi dear Cindy, Thank you so much for sharing these wonderful images! Isn't it funny? The bride without her husband looks the happiest. Maybe he ran away during the ceremony and she was thankful that she hadn't have to spend her whole life with him, lol.
    Have a great week :-)!
    Hugs,
    Julia
PS: I wish I had been with you in Round Top. I'm suffering from flea market withdrawels.

  9. Really nice black and white photography shared. I like black & white photos. My grandmother's B&W photo also really good.

  10. Thank you so much for sharing these wedding photos with your fans. I'm a new follower via Karen Valentine's blog design list. Love the look of yours, too.

I, too, love wedding themed arts/crafts (aka: mixed media) and collect wedding dresses from thrift stores and garage sales. I have no clue what I will use them for but use them I will. I think I'm done buying wedding dresses because my house seems to be way too full (imagine that).

I will be getting a new blog design by Karen Valentine and will let you know so you can visit me sometime. In the meantime, please visit my Typepad blog and see the pretty flowers.

  12. I love the one where it looks like a man in drag - I would have bought that one too. I love old wedding photos and I have several I purchased while living in Europe.
