Gracie and her elephant

Gracie's parents worked in a circus so she had many friends,

They had all kinds of animals which she helped tend.

Some could tame Lions and some were clowns,

They all made her smile and never let her down.

Then one day a big truck arrived,

The ring master said, "Gracie,come look inside!"

And there stood her new best friend,

an elephant named Ben.

He was a baby and didn't want to leave his mama's side

So Gracie told herself, I'll be his guide.

To this day, Gracie is still under the Big Tent

With Ben by her side, this friend for sure was heaven sent.
