Movie-Fest brings a relief from the 107 degree heat!

I decided the heck with it, I'm not fighting this heat! I'm staying inside and having my own little movie-athon! Period films are the subject this weekend. You're all invited!
I even have the same pigment disorder they did in Elizabethan times..shark bait skin!
Two serious films, then a love story! Do you remember her pink gown when she won the Oscar? Loved it!
Followed up with major eye-candy! I mean men in tights, I'm there!! I think I'm heading towards something lighter after these dark films, any suggestions? It's going to be between 103-107 degrees all next week! Invitations are still open to anyone who wants to come over!
Maybe an Edwardian period film like Miss Potter should be next!

Yes, those are a bit dark, history is so sad to me. But they were great films, a must see.

I just love The Love Letter (Cate Capshaw) and Failure to Launch (Sarah Jessica Parker) these two are my all time favorites...funny...romantic... light.

These are all fabulous! I love the "Elizabeth" series. I have watched them over and over. Have you seen, "Marie Antoinette", "The Other Boleyn Girl", "Chocolat", "Girl with a Pearl Earring", Pride and Prejudice", or "Becoming Jane"? I love all of the too.

Light some candles, pour a glass of something yummy, sit back and enjoy yourself! :)))

I ADORE MS Potter!!!! I have it & love it. Loved the ones about Elizabeth. Baby... those were some rough days back then! Did you see the amazing chandalier that Deb Hodges did a class on using all the images from MS Potter? DIVINE! IT IS TOO HOT TO THINK!!! I have had the drapes drawn trying to keep the house as cool as possible. I don't know what we'd do without the neighbors pool. MISS YOU! HUGS!
